Founded in 2021, the Congolese Ecological Society (SOCECO) has established itself as a pioneering player in social entrepreneurship in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Far more than just a company, SOCECO embodies a holistic vision of development, where economic progress, social equity, and environmental preservation are inextricably linked.

 Its activities are mainly carried out in the provinces of South Kivu and Haut-Uélé, where it addresses the interconnected challenges of energy poverty, ecosystem degradation, and food insecurity.
